DESCRIPTION:The Conclave on Assistive Technologies and Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) is being organised to bring together various stakeholders in the Assistive Technologies (AT) value chain and provide a common platform for dialogue addressing the challenges in building an AT ecosystem in India. The stakeholders include researchers\, innovators\, users\, voluntary organisations\,industries\, practitioners\, as well as policy makers. \nAssistive Technologies Conclave and Expo\nThese stakeholders are engaged in different ways with the issues involved in the creation\, production and dissemination of assistive technology solutions. The two-day event should see active participation from all stakeholders\, not only to discuss current solutions but also to seed ideas for research and development. \n \nFocus areas of Discussion\nUser-centric Product Design and Development\nUniversal Design and Accessibility\nChallenges of the User Groups Connecting Different\nStakeholders in the AT Value Chain \nWho should attend\nEnd-users of AT (Persons with Disability\,Voluntary Organisations\, Rehabilitation Professionals\, etc.) Researchers\, Industrialists and AT professionals (to showcase their AT solutions) Emerging Entrepreneurs (Start-ups) in AT Technology Enthusiasts and Students .Students who wish to deliver a poster presentation. \nThe participation in the Conclave on Assistive Technologies and Divyangjan will be considered in the following ways: \n\nStudents who wish to submit posters should be nomiated by their institutional heads.
